Dcompany ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information on this website (sector-31.com) and in our game Sector31.

Note: Sector31 is currently in development. This policy describes how the game is designed to handle information and will be reviewed and updated before the game is released.
This website is a static information site. We do not ask you to create an account, we do not use analytics tools, and we do not set our own cookies. The website is hosted on GitHub Pages; as the hosting provider, GitHub may process technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site, in accordance with GitHub's own privacy statement.
If you email us, we use your email address and the contents of your message only to respond to you.

Sector31 may offer optional rewarded advertisements. If advertising is included, the advertising provider (for example, Google AdMob) may collect and process device advertising identifiers and related information under its own privacy policy. Where required, we will ask for your consent before personalized advertising is shown, and this policy will be updated to reflect the details.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate our services:
Other players can see information you make public in the game, such as your nickname, profile icon, rankings and messages you send to them.
We entrust the following tasks to service providers, who process information only on our behalf:

We keep your game data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service.
Account deletion: You can delete your Sector31 account at any time in the game (Menu → Settings → Delete account) or by contacting us (see Delete your Sector31 account). When you request deletion, your nickname is released immediately and game progress is stopped. If you sign in again within 7 days, your account is restored (you may need to choose a new nickname). After 7 days, your account and personal information are permanently deleted and cannot be restored. Remaining paid in-game currency is not refunded and is forfeited.
Records kept by law: The following records are kept separately from your other personal information for the periods below and then deleted:

How we delete: Electronic data is deleted using methods that prevent it from being restored.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and secure storage of account credentials on your device. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, contact us at the email address below. We may ask you for information such as your in-game nickname to confirm your account.
Where the law requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian to process a child's personal information (for example, for children under 14 in Korea), we will obtain that consent or will not process the information. A parent or legal guardian may contact us to access, correct or delete their child's information. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. We take steps so that your information remains protected in accordance with this policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including before the release of Sector31. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
